Gray Foxes Among the Gravestones

Seeking a Friendly Consensus

Chicago WILDERNESS wants to hear from people working toward or willing to work toward creative solutions to the twin problems of deer overpopulation and people getting mad at each other about it.

  • Do you have stories of creative deer-control collaborations between diverse groups?
  • Do you know people who are developing effective, on-the-ground practices while building a spirit of respect for this great animal?
  • Are there land managers, animal advocates, hunters, or neighbors of nature who want to offer their thinking on deer, suburban ecology, and conservation ethics?

Chicago WILDERNESS is interested in printing responses to Bill Lynn's article and setting up workshops that would seek better solutions. Call (847) 965-9253 or send an e-mail to news@chicagowildernessmag.org to join the conversation.
