submission guidelines

Submitting digital files

We accept Mac files from InDesign CS or QuarkXPress (5.0 format only). Packaged files must include all fonts and linked graphics.

Photos and bitmap color illustrations must be 300-400 ppi. Scan line art at 600-1200 ppi.

Export your ad as a PDF with Press settings (CMYK or grayscale, 300 pixels per inch or greater).

Files must be accompanied by a high-quality color proof.

There are three ways to submit ads: by e-mail, FTP, or CD.

To submit your ad by e-mail, send files to production@chicagowildernessmag.org.

To submit via FTP, please contact ads@chicagowildernessmag.org for access information.

To submit your ad on CD, mail the disc along with your color proof to:
